Spain looks set to be at the forefront of countries with the highest degree of corruption. Two parties share the task: the major parties PP and PSOE. The difference is, as always there through a socialist party, that it is the small-scale corruption, graft, favors to cronies, as the case of the ERE in Andalucia, where people who even came close to their fair share, have been collecting retirement and pension provisions. Corruption in the PP is larger as the case of Mr. Camps, president of the Valencian Community, known as the "subject of the suits." The "suits" are obviously only a small branch of a major case of fraud, known as "the case Gürtel", referring to Francisco Correa, leader of the plot (why the German word that Gürtel means belt, belt?). But the mega-popular scam takes on a shade under the name of the Whiskers, one of the key players currently in jail, while a legion of judges strive to undo the tangle, whose line also extends to the community of Madrid.
